My 88' 4runner timeline/build **pics***

I wouldnt call this a build-up thread because there are not many details in the build just pics through the first year of owning my first toyota..

Last year I traded my 86' GMC Jimmy with a blown motor for a perfect running rust/dent free 88' Toyota 4runner... here are a few pics of it through the past year.
this is the only picture I have of it before any work was done to it. She came with a superlift 4in lift and 35in mud terrains

Since this was going to be my wheeling/DD rig I needed to ditch the stock IFS suspension for something stronger and more flexible

Old suspension out!!!

Trail-Gear Solid axle swap kit..

In with the new!!!

I installed Trail-gear high-steer crossover steering on it but I do not have pics...
The aftermath this was before the new paintjob.

Posing next to mom's car

The day before my first off-roading trip.

The trip.

I like my toy on the rocks...

oppsssss...

It's been back in the shop now getting an ARB air-locker with 5.29 gears in the front and 5.29s with a spool in the rear, new paint job, rear disc breaks, interior bedlined, chevy spings in the rear.
Square rear shaft made!!!

chevy spring next to bent ass old rear spring

New paint added I got bored with the flat black

Chevs are in!!!!ewwwwww blocks(im on strapped on cash)

Rear disc installed this evening. Still have to install brakelines and thats it!! I bought sky-manufacturing brackets and rotors and bought the calipers from autozone.

I should have it complete and ready for Dresser,WI this weekend tomorrow night. I just have a few more odds-n-ends to do but I will post more pics tomorrow night.
