Hey I am going to do this locker tonight, but it says to partially pull the axles out, do I have to take the brake drums off to do so? In the thread of calling all lockrite guys it shows pictures of a truck getting its done, looks like the drums are still on?....

you don't have to pull the drums, technically you don't even have to take the wheels off but it'd be hard to work around them. Take off the ebrake cable, take off the brake line, take the 4 bolts holding the brake assembly to the axle shaft, pull out axle. I usually just pull it out all the way so the weight of the axle is not sitting on the inner axle seal and deforming it.
