Input Shaft stuck to Pilot?

Right, so I've got an r151 mated to a 5vz-fe, using a r150 bell.

Tried to pull the tranny, and when I couldn't pulled the engine along with it out.

I can pull the tranny back about 2 inches, and then no further. No amount of positioning, prying, wiggling, or swearing will get it off.

Anyone know a "proper" technique to press this off? I was thinking about using long bolts and nuts in the mounting holes to try to press the tranny off, but am worried about shattering the bellhousing... Any ideas would be welcome.
