In the diagnostics box, bridge TE1 and E1 with a paperclip for the 3vze. There is a label under the cover that shows their locations. Turn the key to run and count the flashes of the CEL. Here is a good link on the subject too.

Thanks for the reply!
Wow so what are the odds??
I stop by monument auto parts to pick up a new o2 sensor on my way home from work because i have never replaced mine, im having a weird idle problem and im about to hit 200k miles on what i think is the stock o2 sensor. Figure why not right? its a good time.
On my way home from the store my check engine light comes on for the first time since i have owned the truck! (eight years) Checked the codes this morning, looks like a code 25 and 26.
Now im not 100% sure on how to diagnose the code and what the sheets say about it but they can be caused by the o2 sensor. But i replaced the sensor, started it up and no CEL. What are the odds! I buy a new o2 sensor 20 minutes before mine gives out? 200k miles and i pick up a new one on on my last few miles! haha
Just thought it was pretty amazing so i wanted to share.
