Has anyone seen this Herculiner in any color other than black? I want to do my rockers as well but I think grey would look better than black since that's what color my striping is as well as my wheels.

i have seen blue, red, and black herculiner -- i would stick with black as it is going to fade to a dark grey within the first year or so(depending where you live) -- i have seen the blue and red after about 2 years and they do not look very good.
Nor does black if you line a black vehicle...In my case grey is ok to

I ended up doing the shell and the top of the cab. Helps if you tend to go through alot of brush. Been looking for one of those hard visor dealy things too, cause I'd bet that they'd help avoid broken windshields.

I used about 2/3 of a can for 2 coats everywhere on mine -- that includes the 2 coats on the interior
it goes a long way -- make sure when you use it that you pour some out into another container or the rest of your can will start to set up and become unusable-- you can dilute down with xylene if you have to -- I did not do that this time, but i have before

Heres a pic of my 1990 with Linex on the rockers and over the wheel wells. I also did the hood like a bra due to the fact that my fan exploded and put shrapnel through th hood, 6 holes to be exact.
Sorry, I dont have any pics of the hood, I also got rid of the truck and started a new project on a 1987 22rte.

kat (and others),
In the future, if you want protection on your hood and fenders. Look into the clear bra stuff from 3M.
I'm a installer and re-seller of the material and pre-cut kits (if they exist), so I can get the stuff pretty cheap.
