Suprise, suprise, I cant keep headgaskets sealed-up in my 3.0. Need to replace them again, so this time i'm looking for the best gaskets. Considering gaskets from the dealership for best quality, but very spendy. Did some searching on the site, found that Rockauto.com sells a good aftermarket-design gasket set for less than the dealerships. Any other suggestions?! Rock auto? Dealership? others? THANKS

P.S. I will be having the heads checks for warp and machined if need be to eliminate that as a potential problem area. Bottom end has been rebuilt and block machined about 40k miles ago.

Not that i know anything, cuz ive never changed a head gasket other than the one i JUST did during my rebuild... But as far as i know, any engine with an iron block and an aluminum head will be prone for head gasket failure... On top of it, ive heard horror stories of how hard it is to keep the 3.0 from blowing HG's... Go figure haha.. Toyota has to have SOME errors..such is life.

Maybe there ARE better quality HGs? I just thought they were all made out of the same stuff.
