Please review the forum rules Doodlebug on the main "forums" list page. Search for it.

Folks here are eager to help but if you are too lazy to search yourself and then insult folks that give you the answer and tell you to search, your stay here will be short.

Dude, you're giving lip to a someone who gave you an answer, a mod no less?

C'mon. That's just silly.

Well I'm not usually the jerk you all think I am. Had the moderator not answered in such a condescending and hateful manner you never would have seen my darker side. I guess the anonymity of the internet brings out the worst in all of us at times.

Well sonny we did'nt even have an on-line back then... we made do with 1600/2600 baud dial-up modems and a few primitive BBS's... if you wanted to share a pic with someone you sent it in a real envelope with a postage stamp. You could make and eat dinner just waiting for your word processor to boot up.

Well I must've been born in the wrong decade since I've sent actual letters with the postal service and I'm nineteen. (My definition of real is a letter written to a person other then a grandparent. Not card, letter.)

Come on. The original D&D set didn't come with dice...but paper tear outs that you put in a cup and then pulled out a number.

I remember 1200-1400 baud. That's what I made do with before the 1600...... I kinda miss my old Tandy 1000.

Sonny......thats good! But I do remember BBS's and sysops .....I'm not THAT young, AV......!

Tandy 1000?
I had a TI-99/4a with a 300 baud and a few years after that a Tandy COCO3 with a 2400. Hardly got to use them though the closest TI SIG was long distance and CompuServe, Prodigy and AOL we're too expensive.
