i have the 54 mm socket in 1" drive, i bought two adapters to step it down to .5". problem solved.

No you don't need a 54mm, just the ones TC listed. My rig has a small bolt & washer in the end of the shaft 10 or 12mm, can't remember; I've heard some have snap rings but I have no idea if they do or don't....just what I've read.

Got to tear into the truck today. The outer passenger CV-joint was smashed. I rebooted some spares i had and tossed them in. Problem fixed. Im happy
