oh, and i made a cloth roof that goes from the cab to the roll-bar out of a shelter-half that keeps the rear seats pretty dry if you spray it with some of the water-proof boot spray

Reviving this old thread...
I was thinking about having some sort of tarp stashed in the back so I can leave the top off for the summer. It rains in CO but usually short bursts so throwing a tarp over would probably do the trick. Bob###### did you ever figure something out? I was thinking about buying a tarp and kind of folding and taping into some sort of truck-ish shape. Shutting it in the front doors then laying it over the roll bar then tapered back over the tailgate. Probably bungee-ing below the belly and then to the back bumper. My clearcoat is long since shot so i'm not worried about leaving the tarp on. Plus it would just be more of an emergency rainshower deal.
