whats the other sensor? (left) ? Also...not to sound dumb and obvious, but how can you tell if that sensor is bad? What goes wrong on the truck when it goes bad? I am having some overheating problems and have replaced everything under the sun! New head, rv cam, timing set, clutch fan, radiator, thermostat. Thing still gets hot??? And the gauge only seems to work speradically!
Thanks

The black plug is the cold start injector time switch. The wires on these sensors and switches are often very brittle. My temp sensor wires broke two different times on my 86 truck,As far as the overheating,I don't have a clue.Someone on this board will know.
