A bolt on 85 4runner

just wondering why my bolt just drops down, like its too little?i understand there is supposed to be a sensor, but i don't feel anything when i put a screwdriver in it.oh yeah rear window does not work, trying to narrow it down here.i can't just take panel off because it has been linexed all inside(well anythings possible),does it sound like the sensor has been removed?

Couldn't you just run a longer bolt with a nut underneath? And isn't that bolt just a ground and so you could move the ground to a different bolt?

Also, there may be other reasons why your window doesn't work.

To diagnosis your rear tailgate motor you will need to clean out the linex around screws/bolts for the panels to test for power--how were the fuses?

You need to state your questions better. Tons of folks have got great info and are more than willing to help--but can't read minds...Most problems have happened before..

BTW-You Runner sounds/looks to a helluva truck..
