Black or Stock Wheels!!

How about hot pink lips (pun?) with yellow spokes? Then get one of those horrid paint jobs like a lot of Chevy/Ford/Dodge/Hummer drivers think are ttooootttalllly sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! I voted stock color. I like black wheels... but has to be the right wheel. Not the left. The stock wheels are gorgeous as is... but a TRD gunmetal look may be in order... Then again... with a white truck... I think silver is cool.............................................. .................................................. ... Maybe coat them a flat darker gray, then shoot a very shiny coat over it, give it a glassy look... PSP!!

Stay with stocks. IMHO stocks painted black just doesn't look right. Especially for those type of wheels. When I saw the thread title, I thought you were going to buy black steelies because those would look great on your truck.
No offense to guys who painted theirs black of course.

I agree with Silicon, black steelies would look pimp as hell but with those rims I would leave them the stock color. If you are getting the blasted just clear coat them to preserve the finish.

An idea I had for my rims was keep the inserts between the spoks silver and do the rest black...
or the other way around
If I could find my copy of photoshop I would have shown what I mean , but i can't find it...

Flat black steelies on a white truck look pimp IMO; otherwise I'd keep stock stock - not trying to take away business J

In my opinion...I just don't like the black rims period. Don't see much of the statement they make. A good polished rim with maybe a black beadlock ring would look awesome in my eyes....but to each their own! I'd say stay silver or we could go with a white pearl look with a clear coat..

Well I think ive made up my mind. Im gonna go with the stock color, or whatever J can come up with, for the rims. Im gonna keep these as my nice lookin daily driver rims and get some black steelies and some MTs for when I go off-road. This way I can have the best of both worlds.
Now i just gotta see what kind of color J decides to throw on the rims. Its gonna be interesting to see how they come out. Im gettin excited!!

Check this out Kyle...it gives you the hint of darkness, but still has a little bit of light shadow to it too. This is charcoal metallic with a clear coat. I love this color, and I think it would look really good on your badges as well. What do you guys think?

I really like that color! Do you have any pics of it in sunlight? Do you have anything a little lighter just to compare it with? When i get to school tomorrow ill mess around with the rims as a charcoal color like that and see how they look! Thanks J.
