my mom said i had 2 many trucks out back (only had that and my 79, we have parking for 5 ) and at that time the 4runner had a blow tranny, i needed a daily driver for my 55 mile round trips to school everyday, so she said one of my trucks had to go.....so i picked the 4runner.... pulled the motor/trans/t-case, and put the remains up for sale...nobody was interested in the time i had to get rid of it, so i was left with the only option, junk it.......
believe me, i wanted to keep it, perfect candidate for a 3.4 swap and SAS...but living with parents sux at times, i didn't talk to my mom for about a week and a half after this incident, and i still don't let her live the decision down about it, one of the worst parts about it is that the replacement was a 95 grand chero

Damn......I wish I could motivate my wife more.
I've got pics of her '92 when I hit a culvert goin 55mph and went (as was told to me by the 1st responders who just happen to be travelling in the opposite direction as I went sailing) 8ft. in the air. Personally, I'm not sure I believe that, but how the hell would I know? I was too busy freakin' out about the 4rnr. Who cares about me?! I just didn't want the 4rnr to get smashed! And, I'd just finished rebuild the motor, too.
As well, I'd show pics of my '86. Now, that's a beater just from farm work.
