Here's the company I bought from:

http://stores.ebay.com/Siege-Engineering-Equipment

I got a Kong horn with a 200psi 3gallon air kit. I know it's every bit as loud as a real train horn because I was sitting at a RR crossing waiting for a train and when he blew his horn I blew back at him. He actually gave me a dirty look because i think mine may have been a little louder.

Pitch and sound wise, this horn sounds exactly like a 3 chime Leslie horn. They did one hell of a job when they designed and made it.

Every time I drive the truck I find an excuse to blow it.

So do people cuss, cats hiss, and babies cry when you blow it?

Just remember guys that real train horns are illegal and can be VERY dangerous (cause accidents) Also, they are NOT cool on the trail. In fact, many off road parks ban them completely......

they could be some fun though..I wont deny that

Have you seen the guy on youtube with the ship horn on his truck? Funny as hell.....you can hear it echoing through the valleys when he blows it for a few seconds afterward......priceless.

Yeah not so cool you can actually damage your hearing with them... on the other hand if you were to hook up a previous poster's immitation set to your alarm... folks would certainly pay attention... of course it would just kill your batt. after a while...

If you had a 5 or 10 gallon tank the horn would pulse for about 5-10 minutes without even running the compressors... Plenty of time for a neighbor to come over and set your truck on fire. :p

For those that think the horns aren't cool, I also carry a gun in the truck with me but my responsibility and common sense keep me from shooting it at people. It's the same with the horn...
