Light won't come on in either position.

Is it just the light or does it not go in and out of overdrive either?

Dont wait for a CEL from a bad o2 sensor, Mine went out almost 3mo ago and no CEL and nothing about it pulling the codes myself, I went throught everything to find out why I was get such crappy power and 8mpg.
Read on the net how they work, Went to autozone picked one up and whalla its back to normal.

You should be running around 2500 rpm in OD at 60 and around 3500 to 4000 out of OD.

But make damn sure your at operationg temperature or the overdrive will be locked out and wont shift one way or another. The light will still go on and off but it won't do anything else. I thought I had a problem with mine all the sudden but I found out the engine wasn't getting warm enough with the beginning of winter season and had to slip a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator. Now it warms right up and shifts fine, and I don't have to fix anything.

Yeah actually if you want to get it really really really straight the FSM calls it a VAF.

What does (jk) mean?

How many o2 sensors does a non CA 3.0 have? I thought I only had one on the exhaust after the cat, which I changed. I did o2, cap, rotors, wires, plugs, air filter, fuel filter with maybe a 1mpg gain. Just did the TPS. All oem parts, I guess they needed to be done, but what waste of money for no real gain. Truck has 105,000.

IIRC the purpose of the cali setup is to throw a CEL when your Cat is toast.
