94 2WD Power Steering Gearbox

I'm converting my stearing from manual to power and bought a gearbox via the internet. Had some initial trouble (they first sent me a manual box) but the replacement came in the mail today. It's obviously a power box, but how can I tell if it's for a 2WD or 4WD? I need 2WD. From it's appearance, it looks like it will fit. I don't want to tear mine down only to find out that what I have won't work.

I'm a bit skeptical of the salvage yard at this point, to be honest.

Would appreciate comments. Thanks!!

the 4wd box is bigger, i converted a 94 2wd to ps last year, it was a 3 hour job at most. i recently installed an ifs box on an 84 4wd and ill tell you by looking at it the 2wd man box looks almost identical to the power box, the 4wd box is bigger.

Well, this one is definitely larger. Will the 4wd box work on a 2wd set-up?

2WD box has 2 horizontal and one vertical bolt, the 4wd IFS has three horizontal bolts.

The last respnder is indeed right. I had looked at the parts on Auto Zone's web and they looked identical until the bolt pattern was pointed out. Also, for some odd reason, the 2wd box appears to weigh more than the 4wd.

Looks like I am all set. Thanks for the help!
