Yes Fabtech is always discontinuing their products. Anything they remove is because of the poor design. I've had the experience with their upper arms and lift spindle on different trucks.

On my truck (in pictures) I've had the Ivan Dan "long travel" and its held up great, but the geometry is poor and it only cycles 10".

Also looking for info on a small lift for 2wd

Hi, I've been browsing this site for a few days, and decided to join and continue the discussion. I've got an '86 2wd that I would also like to add a small lift and somewhat bigger tires. I've currently got 205/70R14's on my stock 2wd. I'd like a little lift, mostly for looks (I know...) and so I can see a little farther down the road. I used to have an '84 F250 4x4, and I miss sitting up high! Anyway, my thought was to put on Downey torsion bars and crank them up another inch or so, replace my rear leafs with the Downey 2" 2wd springs and go with 215/75R15 tires on steel wheels. Maybe add a ball joint spacer if I need to lift the front to level things out. Can you see any big problems with this plan? The new tires would be 27.7" diameter, versus the old tires at 25.3". Can I do anything to correct the speedometer error? Here's a pic of my truck, you can see she rides pretty low:

Thanks for any input!
