89 4runner V6 Head Removal Trick- Time Saver!
Not sure where I read this in the forum, but someone suggested that when removing the heads leave the exhaust manifolds on and leave the crossover pipe intact. What a time saver! From removing the hood to putting the heads on the bench 6 hours. Last time I did this it took 12.



Also helps if you have the best wife in the world helping out!

My woman wouldn't help. She would just stand there and belittle every move I made. Gotta love a woman that has no faith in her man.

Hahaha thats what I did on my 94 runner. So much easier to leave the exhaust on.
