Nice! How are you pushing 14lbs? Do you have an aftermarket gauge? Anything to trick fuel cut? Stock fuel cut kicks in around 10-12lbs. I'm running 7lbs on premium fuel and still fight detonation with my timing set to stock.

as for fuel cut. i do not kno what the previous owner did. but he told me 14psi and i hooked up my boost gauge today and checked and when i mash the pedal to the floor it goes to 14psi.

hmmmm. i wonder. maybe ill call him and see what he says...

I'm hoping to get a new exhaust manifold, intercooler, and maybe I will be able to bump mine up around 10 I'm hoping. I think my motor might have an RE head on it so I might be fighting higher compression. I know when I try to run 10lbs, I hit boost cut every once and a while. Any other work done to it?

Actually they did put a Buick 3.8T in some '89 "20th Anniversary" Trans Am GTA's, and those too were automatic equipped only... and the "quickest TA to date" (to quote wikipedia).

But we shouldn't be going off topic.

Wealselman has a score.
