3.0 hesitation and violent jurking

this has been happening for awhile, but everytime I take it down to my shop it doesnt do it. Go figure. This is intermitent. Theres three issues and they could be all tied together. First off sometimes when i start my truck in the morning it has a rough idle. Sometime while driving acceleration is not smooth, it is kinda hesitant and the rpms jump around while accelerating (kinda like bogging down). Then last but not least and not all the time but when it shift into the 4th at about 1500-2200rpms it is very jerky. I dont know what to look for or do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also on a side note does anyone know where to get the plastic screw that hold the door panel in place on a 1995 4runner?

What do you mean? By the time you get to your shop it doesn't do (IOW....warmed up), or once at your shop and the steps are repeated it doesn't do it?

Is it a 5spd or auto?

Maybe its not 1500 I will be able to double check in about an hour. Like i said it is intermitant. I cant link any of them due to a cold engine or a warm engine because it will do it on both and sometimes it just runs fine. Its an auto. It seems when I drove to the shop last week they wanted me to drive it so they could understand whats going on, but it ran perfect. The jerking is not in the higher RPMS its only right when its shifts into 4th and only sometimes.

Oh boy! This is ringing a bell, but I can't put it all together in my head at the moment. I'll have to come back to it later. Maybe by then someone will have chimed in. Sorry.

Check spark plug wires

Fuel filter could be old and clogged

Spark plug wires on the passenger side could have leaned against the EGR pipe, burnt, and cracked.
