3.0 engine swap
Hi guys brand new here, looking for a little help on engine swap, I have a 1995 truck with 3.0 250000 miles finally died. I bought a good used with lot less miles. When they pulled out the engine im swapping with they cut the rubber gas line right where it is crimped on to metal pipe right at back of the manifold. how can i fix this? I hate to pull manifold and replace the whole thing.

That's the high pressure gas line coming in from the tank (and the pump), I wouldn't skimp on this one. I would take a real good look at both motors and see what would need to be done to pull the hose from the back of the fuel rail, do it, then buy all new gaskets for the various parts that you took off (especially including the brass/copper crush washer(s) for the banjo bolt on the fuel rail), then swap the "old" fuel line over to the "new" engine.
I only say not to skimp here because the last thing you want is for that line to burst (or come loose) and spray gas all over a hot engine/exhaust only to set itself on fire as you're driving down the highway.
