I'll try and get those pictures tonight, stock. Im kind of busy later tonight. but we'll see. I'll take pictures of the cut off and of the view out of the wind shield.

Fortunately the stock housings deflect a bit and mine creates somewhat of a cutoff. Angling the beams set to cut approximately 75 feet (Minnesota law for low beam). Never been flashed other than bare skin by attracted females.
Played around with a few color temps. Currently listed 30K displaying a deeper blue, where before I ran 12K purple. Both exotic; the purple had a black light affect against street signs illuminating them like Vegas.
Most inexpensive 9004 High/Low sets are 1 xenon paired with 1 halogen and set you up with standard halogen life span expectancy and extra housing heat. A magnetic switch on a single xenon bulb would be ideal. Both sets (different manufacturers) had to be re-wired so the low beam would activate xenon bulbs and high beam would activate halogen. Both brand of bulbs and trying different brand ballasts had the same effect.

how can you drive with that color? you loose tons of output with anything higher than 5000k, OEM is 4300K

For starters; you cant be a pu$$y your whole life. HID's put out roughly 3x the output as conventional halogens. Realistically around 1200 lumens vs. 3200 lumens.
See if you can find the formula for lumen conversion vs. color temp. I'm not certain the lumen of 35w 30000k temp but I can certainly see better than the old halogens. Other than that, the hella spots and PIAA fogs do a nice job as well. If I need more light to see i'll invest in a pair of perscription glasses.

Thanks for noticing, but c'mon you're better than that. See if you can find a conversion and we'll figure it out. The deep blue looks good, but i'd be interested in a violet/pink or even a firey lt. red tint but focus more on the engine than the exterior.

the lights on my 4runner suck ballzzzz...so i'm going HID eventually..but will likely go with some Bi-xenon's (high's and low's) cuz i don't wanna piss any of these yotatech weirdo's off......................

dude, just go plug n play. I can tell you right now, my brother went with bi xenon on his tacoma and it really isn't worth the extra 20 bucks. all it does is add a wiring harness, and when you flash your high beams or turn them on it just moves the bulb closer and makes an annoying "click" when you turn them on... like i said, mine were only 40 bucks. if you're worried about pissing people off, just angle them.

yepp...that done it...i'm goin with these HID's...
BUT! i think i'll get a set of long range aux. lights though for my brights LOL!!!
put em on top of the 4runner
have em aimed wayyy down the road 
with some 130w bulbs

They are 6k... pure white.
I recommend everyone doing this though. but be sure to angle your headlights down ( I haven't and I get flashed constantly and people getting pissy with me, like the other night i had a guy slow down to like 40 mph on I - 80, get behind me and turn his high beams on... lmao hella immature, but whatever )
