22re running rough hot... help!! please
Finally got my yota back road worthy.... well i thought. Its a 92 22re efi in a 93 4x4 pickup, aftermarket headers. My problem is that it runs decent cold, but when it warms up it runs like hell. I give it gas on the road in 2nd and it sputters and sounds like its gonna die. No vacuum leaks and throttle positioning sensor is good. Any other ideas would be great, thank you. Also speedo dont work, but i think thats a different problem.

If I were you I would check the valve lash. If the adjusting screws were set as the engine was cold it won't work the same when it warms up. They should be set at normal operating temp. so it runs rough when it's cold and then good when it's warm. I'm not a mechanic so I could very well be wrong but it's never a bad idea to check the valve lash.
