Pull off the door panel and take a look. Something might have come undone.
Some jackoff tried to break into my truck a few years ago, shoved a screwdriver into my lock wrecking it. For the next year I had to climb over the passenger side seat to unlock my door. That sucked! P.s if your truck is a 3rd generation, its not called a tacoma

To get in the truck I have to open the passenger door and then open the driver door from the inside. I live in Texas so I have to lock my truck every night. Anyway does someone have a easy solution and a schematic on how to fix this ploblem so I dont look like an idiot when I am trying to get in my truck. Its something that connects to the handle on the drivers side door is missing. I can open it from the inside but not the outside. Any help is thanked.
