17" rims vs 15" rims

2003 4Runner Limited 4wd V8. Bone stock except for the Nitto All Terrains. My Rig 91 Ext Cab 4x4 Yota, black with 4" front IFS trailmaster lift, 3" Downey rear springs, Downey Rubicon extended shackles, and 2" body lift. 35" BFG M/T w/ 4.56. Centerforce II clutch, Rancho 5000s all around and Rancho traction bar, K&N Air filter, Flowmaster, ARB Rear Diff Air Locker, Custom "Mad Eyes" light covers, Extended Diff Breathers, Hella Vision Plus Headlights. I have 17" on mine in the winter. I put them on early last year & went wheeling and I noticed the ride was a lot bumpier due to less sidewall to flex. This was running 31x10.5 tires. Since you are using 35" tires you probably won't notice as much if a difference, but they will be a little bit harsher of road. On road the 17" rim was a lot nicer ride - had more control due to less flexing - hope this helps

ah ic. havent been doing much wheeling lately. improved onroad performace sounds great!.
