Wire Harness Help

I am building a 1985 xtra cab 4x4. My plan was to use a factory turbo system on the 22re however after reading about others experiences I am not putting the turbo on. I have the wire harness and the ECU for a 1987 4x4 truck and would like to use them for the EFI system for the 1985 22re.
Can I use the turbo harness, ECU and gauge cluster without the turbo?

I had a 86 turbo truck that i put a 88 model motor in . both trucks where efi ,i used the turbo truck ecu ,injectors, wiring harness. the 88 had diffrent injectors. the turbo light still came on like when it had one. the only problem i had was it was higher geared ,which caused it to be a gutless wonder on hills.

Gearing should not be a problem. The only thing turbo will be the harness and ECU and gauge cluster.
Thank you for your input.
