get a header need a new hi flow cat, 2.25 pipe, glasspack, intake, 8mm plug wires, cam shaft, valves, ignition box, polish/port, electric fan ....

And when its all said and done all you need is tires, gears, lockers, crawler box, bumpers, sliders, winch, straps, cb...

Once you start its hard to stop.

Power gains for cheap are minimal at best. Get your truck working so that it's at 100% and then go drive it.

The best gains can be had by modifying the nut behind the wheel.

If you want to go racing, go buy a corvette. If you want to go 'wheeling, do tires, lockers, armour, and then a winch.

i'd do a weber 38mm carb, and headers that should help. if your still power hungry i would suggest getting used to it but you could do a cam and a 4 barrel carb, then you will want an msd ignition system.

ive just learned to deal with the gutlessness and give it enough traction and flex to make up for the power

$2500 for a few horsepower? Jeez for that amount of money you could swap in a much more powerful engine, or just buy a more powerful truck.
