weber 36 dges
I bought a used 85 toyota with a 22r that came with a weber 36dges. Also know as the 36 synchrous. I can not get the carbuerator to work properly, and i can not hardly find any information on this carb. From the day i bought the truck tell my fuel pump went out it was very prone to flodding. When the fuel pump went out i found that the return line had been capped off. After the second replacement pump went out i fixed the return line. Now it no longer floods but it will not hardly start of morning when it has sat all night. When it does finally start a black spot is left every time. Also when the engine hits a certain rpm the carb whistles.

Well, as far as the flooding issue, you probably have too much fuel pressure. If it's like the 32/36 or the 38 synchronous, they are designed to operate at a maximum 3.5 psi.
As far as instructions and troubleshooting the whistle and the hard start in the morning, look up info on the 34 DGEC, because from what I can tell the 36 synchronous is just a modified 34.
