Leak at intake manifold

INTAKE MANIFOLD! i took the dang thing off 2 times today and first time i replaced gasket. it started leakin out bottom, i was leakin at egr the first place so thats why i did it. now i did it again, the second bolt in on the bottom, is it suppose to be super short? the stud and nut is fine, then there is a bolt that isnt even holding the manifold on, its just like a plug for coolant flow. Why is it leakin.... i used about a inch long bolt and i am sure its the right one.... any info plz help

I don't think I can see whats leaking from here..I tried..I nearly poked my eye out trying to look through the network cable. j/k

What kind of leak are we talking about here? And from where on the bottom?

Using thread titles relative to your problem rather than generic "help" titles will get more views and answers.

lemme explain again.... there is a bolt under the intake manifold, that bolts where the gasket is mounted, but it doesnt hold the manifold on, its leaking coolant. what type of bolt is needed?? it makes no sense to me..

If it does not go to the manifold then what is it mounting to the head? Too hard to tell from the picture.

Are you absolutely sure its not leaking from above and just dripping down to that bolt?
