85 4runner Windshield
I recently cracked my 85 4runner windshield.
How much can I expect the repair to cost? Anything I should change while I have it out? Ive heard of guys changing the weather stripping Thanks

i had the windshield in my '81 replaced (with new seal) for $165 last year...just call around, phone calls are cheaper than gas...

i paid 110 for an xtra cab windshield. Put it in with my buddy from the glass shop for free. But i would expect anywhere from 200-275 if you had a glass shop do it. maybe more with the cost of everything now. dunno bout the trim stuff..
It is glued(that black stuff) in correct? like most windshields while you got the window out dig anything you dropped out of your defrost vent.. :o)

Haha good idea.
Who knows what might be in there. It is indeed glued in. I think ill get a new seal to replace all that chrome. It just seems to trap water underneath it

just did the pickup (86) a few months ago, 225 IIRC with black weatherstripping.
