22r 85 issues

hello folks, helping a friend out with his 85 2WD truck. We've replaced the carb, thinking it was related to the issues, but we are experiencing the same symptoms. Basically, the truck has to be floored for it to start, and once it does, it sounds terrible and lumpy. Any load placed upon it causes it to die.[YOUTUBE]

Any ideas?

How many miles?
Did you check the compression in all 4 cylinders? At the same time read each spark plug why you have them out. (Most local auto stores rent a compression tool for free as long as you leave a deposit.)
Did you check the distributor and the distributor cap?
Spend $15 bucks and buy 12 feet of vaccum line and replace every single one incase its a simple vacuum leak which is what (((I'm expecting.)))
Change/Check the fuel filter also very very cheap.
Always start with the easiest things when trying to figure out a problem. Don't just assume the worst.

It's a brand new distributor cap. Not sure about the compression. I'll report back.
