i drove my friends 3.4 about a week ago, and i honestly did not see a huge difference in acceleration, maybe a little bit. the 3.0 definatley sounds like its gonna blow up though wen you punch that gas pedal. goin uphill, thats a different story, drop off the passengers and tell them to meet you at the top of the hill.

well im not sure on this one ill finish my lift and try to time it i know its really fast should be around 8 secs or so droped the chevy 4.3 with holley truck avenger 4bbl,5 speed ,529s, 35s claws, this motor is unreal for power and light wet pavement is a little slick if u got a heavy foot like me, but its sure fun when u can go threw three gears and move only about a truck length. im moveing up to 37in toyos and six inches more lift with the crossover steer so ill have to see about the time difference between the 35s and 37s

i can cruise 70 on the freeway with the top off, back full of camping gear and a buddy. now when i got it i could only hit 65, so i did some maint. got some stock rims with 31in muds and for some reason 10in rims with no backspacing gets worse mileage and top speed.................

i realize this is for older trucks, but my 3.slow with auto tranny did a hair over 13s. of course, with ECT on, overdrive off, and starting from low and 'shifting' at about 4500rpm. my friends timed me and have laughed at that ever since. i think if it mattered i could rip a few more things out like my toolbox to save weight but that can't be too bad for stock gears w/auto and 32x11.5s. or maybe it is bad and i'm just optimistic lol

It doesn't.....Try Pulling a hill, on the interstate, 4 passengers and A/C running with a 22RE 4.10s, 5spd and 31 inch tires.

0-60 times with a 3.slow, 33's and 4.10's.. I dont think I have the patience to time it

Even better try 5 college guys, their camping gear filling the back and on the roof, and pulling a utility trailer full of gear with two canoes on the top all with a 22re... so many semi trucks passed us that trip and trying to drive over mt hood was a big mistake

I am usually as fast as the big rigs, so what ever a semi truck is add about 1 sec and that is my 0-60

id say mine can hit 60 in less than 10sec never timed though. 5speed turbo it can chirp the tires. i've gotten it to 95mph but i didnt want to go any faster

I'm not 100% sure as I have not officially timed it but under 8 seconds.

Timed it a while back. Around 13-13.5 seconds. 5speed 3.0 with myself and my father.

i'd be pleasently surprised if it was under 8 secs. That's pretty damn fast for a 4cyl, 4wd truck with 31's, turbo or not. i don't think my sonoma would break 8 secs even with the mods i have.
