A340 Rock Shifter
Well I fabbed up the needed parts to install a cable shifter in my truck this weekend. I had ordered a heavy duty shift cable for this a few weeks ago but had been too busy to get it done. Forward to reverse with no worries. I still need to rework the console to fit the new shifter.

Test drive
Went wheelin south of town, the scenic shots are looking at Oregon and Idaho from Washington. It snowed off and on all day. I'll have to go back next weekend. First time out with the IROK's and it locked up front and rear, what a blast.

63" Chevy's
Did the 63" spring swap, heres a few pics. The truck had 3" Rancho lift blocks on the back when I started and it looks like with the springs on the frame I'm right were I was. I still need to add shackles in the back and add longer shackles on the front and probably get about 1"-2" inches more. The new shock mounts are on the way. Still have to pick up some bump stops too.

New rear bumper
So I finished up the 63" spring install, added 6" TG front shackles and it all looks good. pics later. So I decided I need to get rid of the round tube rear bumper and build a plate bumper to match the front.
Here's an image of what I came up with. It's 4" deep and 6" tall, will use 3/16" flat bar for most of it. Only thing is I'll have to do my bed bob first.

New bumper
Well I got started on my new bumper. Use 3/8 plate to the frame, reinforced it with a piece of 2x2x3/16 TS between, the rest is all 3/16" plate welded front and back. Still have more to do but so far I have these pics. Oh yeah I just did the bob this week too.

Been busy with business and haven't done much til today. Well a little more grinding and some paint am I'm done, I added the receiver tube on each side, drilled a 5/8" hole from the top clear thru so you can insert a strap and use the bolt to hold it in instead of a hook or clevis. Cleaner look tha teyes and hooks hanging off the back, also nothing to hang up either.

I have the interior gutted with all the stuff in the bed right now, will get pics when I get the interior back together. Or you could just road trip over and check it out yourself, what's a 6 hour drive to check out a build?
