just finished my 81...dont drool

well i have never posted a thread about one of my own rigs. But i know how much many people on this board love first gen pickups. I start with a crappy but not rusty 81 pickup and now have what i think is a real beauty.

Love the truck, thats exactly what I want to do with my 83 which I built up but have better plans for(check my build thread) I think Il keep mine dark blue though, love the green but everyone around here seems to do that.

I like it. Your door panels look like mine. I am thinking about making some new ones out of aluminum diamond plate. I also need new seats. Just got back from Moab and my back is killing me.

one thing I noticed: Hope you have tightened up that lock nut on the tie rod on the passenger side....

sweet thatnks guys. ya i noticed the locknut and got it tightened up. The paint is called hot rod flatz and is semi flat paint that dries incredibly durable. I could use some sliders thoguh haha.
