Eliminating Vac Lines on 20R

Anyone have any experience getting rid of pain in the ass vac lines? I don't have emissions in my area and fuel consumption doesn't really bother me that much on my trail rig. I just put a '78 20R into my truck and I want to get rid of as many lines as possible. I also have what looks to be a condenser or air pump on my engine as well that hooked up to the vac system, which I'm hoping to get rid of. I know that people get rid of a lot of the lines when they swap in an aftermarket carb. Which lines go and which stay? I've already taken the exhaust manifold injection off because I'm using a header. Any info would be appreciated!!
