20r to 22re

so i have spent the last six hours on the internet looking for info on this swap and all im getting is that there is 12 wires to hook up and one one relay also a fuel pump. My question is what are those 12 wires? i have two trucks one that had the 20r and one that had a 22r but the PO swapped in a 22re. all of his wiring is junk but it did run. Im just looking to start over. Any help or a point in the right direction would help. Thanks

This Might help you get started. 12 wires doesn't sound right, but you might be right anyway.

What I would do if your starting from scratch is get a hold of a full harness that matches the year of the engine.

Fuel injectors
Cold Start Injector
Cold Start Time Switch (I think that's what what it's called)
IAT
Ignitor
AFM
Alternator
Knock Sensor
Oil Pressure Sensor
Fuel Pump

i have the entire harness from the truck it came out of i just don't know which wire are doing what or what year the 22re is if i knew the year i could find the fsm and just hook that harness into mine by finding the fsm i could see what wire goes to what and just splice all my harness into it. here is the wiring i am looking at. just a whole bunch of half a** wiring.

gonna need the EFI gas tank too...

edit: why is your battery on the wrong side? used to be a diesel truck?

edit 2.0: this link is a pretty good write up on EFI in a 1st Gen
