Is there anyone out there that has a running 1981 22r Truck with a 1983 carb on it?

Could you please send me (or post a link) pics of the vacuum hose assembly that you are using? I have looked at diagrams till I am cross eyed it still doesn't make sense. I know I am close, but the trial-and-error-till-your're-cussing method is getting old.

I know that if I could just a pic of the connections I would be able to sleep at night.

This is for a federal model.

If it's pretty similar to just a straight up '83 truck, I've got some photos, I think. The vacuum diagram I have was actually very helpful, and I found a home for a lot of loose hoses, but maybe yours is more complicated. I'll look around for some of my photos, and maybe post up the diagram, too. May not be till monday, though....no computer at home.

I'll look for my diagrams tonight. I have an 82. But it has the altitude compensated carb that you must be talking about. I would take a picture but I have it apart at the moment.

If you want I can send you the vacuum diagram. Not sure how to post it. If it's not something you have already and think it will help just PM me your email address and I'll send it to you. I can take photos of my carb, but honestly, to get all the hoses it will take a LOT of pictures. Or you could post a photo or two or three of the places you need help on, and I'll take a picture of that specific place for you. Or something. Let me know.
