1992 4Runner, 3.4 Swap, 31's, well maintained Denver, CO
1992 Silver SR5 3.4Runnner
3.4 swap with a 2001 motor (110,000 miles on the motor at install) completed in October 2010.
Parts replaced on motor prior to install: new timing belt, all new timing belt pullies, spark plugs, plug wires, front and rear main seals, all valve cover seals, belts, hoses, all fluids, and probably stuff I'm forgetting. 3.0 oil pan was swapped and new dipstick was installed, transmission output seal was also replaced during install.
Air conditioning wired and plumbed to function, but I've never gotten around to charging it. Harness has functioning obd2 plug, all gauges work, and check engine light for emissions.
5 speed transmission, chain driven transfer case. Hubs were swapped for manual locking Aisin hubs and the problematic vacuum actuated front differential was permanently locked. All fluids were recently changed.
1" 4crawler body lift was installed for intake plenum clearance
Brand new 31x10.50 Falken Rocky Mountain ATs on factory steel wheels from Discount Tire with repair/replace certificates that will be transferred to the buyer. New rear coils to level things out and new rear shocks.
Interior is in great shape minus the usual drivers side torn seat and three cracks in the dash board. Has power locks, windows- all function. Crusie Control is wired, but a longer cable needs to be installed under the hood for it to work. Husky weather guard shaped floor mats and cargo liner included. No carpet or seat stains, headliner is in perfect shape. Nice Pioneer deck with aux and usb input- controls iPod/iPhone through the deck itself
240,XXX on the body, but it is in pretty great shape for twenty years old. Clear coat and paint are faded on the roof and there is rust below the rear passenger door on the wheel well. The e-brake cable broke needs to be replace since it stretched and sheared.
Looking to get $3,500 obo, located in Denver, CO

So 18,000 more miles would put the engine at 128,000
You would need a stock airbox and cat from the same year 3.4 to pass. All O2 sensors, evap, etc are present and working. Passes smog in Colorado and will come with the swap inspection certificaton

Wow wish u were closer. This would be such a great deal for my older brother. He wants a 2nd gen and I told him about this motor and was disappointed thay they don't come on 2nd gens so yours having it is a huge plus. Lol definitely in his price range too. And it has a manual tranny. Thats awesome man.
So would have been down for a nice road trip. We live in CA.

Hey ColoradoToy did you sell this already or is it still available? My brother looks like he is crazy for your 4Runner lol I told him I don't mind making a weekend trip to drive out there and back for the truck. Let me know. This guy is gonna sell his current car if it is still available.
