Elephant Hill loop canyonlands NP, UT

Did this one a little while ago, but this was about the gnarliest trail I have managed to do in my rig. I must've scraped the skid plates a dozen times going over stuff. This is a badass loop though, and I would highly recommend it. Just make sure your truck isn't too wide, because as you can see, it gets narrow at times. It does take you to an awesome overlook of the confluence of the Green and the Colorado rivers where you can see the Island in the Sky, the maze district in the distance. Basically badass.

Yeah its cool. Great shot of the Confluence, the water was running high when I went last, and it was all the same color. If we go to Moab for more than 5 days this fall Iwould like to do it again, but it's a full day trip. My dad did it in his 84 Silverado short bed a few years ago. Dragged his stepps down both sides of the slot along Wall Street, and had to fold both his mirrors in, but it made it.

Nice co-driver.

Cool pics.

So... is she happy to be outside, or happy to be out of the 4Runner for that section??
