This is just a random thought but what would you think about getting my trailer hitch powdercoated...I need to repaint it anyway and was just thinking powdercoating would protect it from when it drags on the ground going through ditches and getting pelted with gravel from my dirt road...if I don't powdercoat it I might get it Line-X'd or Rhino Lined...or I'll atleast spray it with the undercoating that I got to protect my freshly cut fenders.

Just remember you need to strip it down to bare metal before powdercoating, there can be no old paint at all. Lots of work.Originally Posted by 4x4Fink
