Yep, no emissions in Maryland for classic vehicles. I've heard the Turbo thrush before and it sounds similar to your's, just a little louder.

man that actually sounds pretty good ive been debating if I want to run a header and a new exhaust and possibly do the k&N to stock carb set up. now I feel a little better about the exhaust end of it! and where I live cops don't hammer to hard so I thought about running straight pipes and a header but I kinda want it quiet in the cab lol

I have a headman header and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust with a muffler and when the widows are down its somewhat loud but with the windows up its quiet, and it doesn't sound like a Honda or some other rice runner

Alright so I have gone with a new center console for the truck. My friend has one in his rabbit and it got me thinking. So I ended up finding one out of a 84' rabbit for $10 at pick n pull. And after some trimming, paint, and a bandana for $1 it came out real well. It fits pretty dang perfect. Anyway here goes with the pics.

I didn't get any pics after I first got it, but here it is after some trimming

And test fit

A coat of paint

The bandana as a shift boot cover

I was going to try and built a console, but that looks pretty good, I might just do this instead.

Ya i'm really happy with how it came out, i'll try and get some better pics up soon. I used the brackets that hold the factory gauge set that i'm missing, but I like this better. A few bucks and a afternoon and you have a nice console.

Alright sorry it took a couple days started a new job and have been busy with that as far as the truck goes I got a visor from wid another member on here he meet me half way witch was awesome of him. If your reading this thanks again man! Got some bolts with rubber washers to keep water from getting in there. Not going to lie it was pretty stressful making sure I had it perfect before I drilled... but in the end I think it came out as good as it could have, and I think the truck looks a million times better with it. And gives it a bit of attitude. Anyways here's some pics.

What gear ratio do you have? I found a nice set of 33s for sale but I'm not sure if I want to slap them on before regearing.

They're 4.38 and not really that much worse than the 31s I had I will regear eventually but I can live with the way they are now.
