I have a 85 Toyota, just removed fuel tank, and would like to reinstall to the rear of my bed. Would like to see how others are mounting there's. Any info is appreciated

also depends on where you are located to see if it is possible.. you have to keep it at a certain level for the charcoal cannisters etc to pass smog, especially if you live in CA...

I am not sure if he means he is wanting to put it in his bed??or move it another place with the size and shape of the tank I don`t think a factory tank would fit any where other than where it is.
In Pa you would need a tank made for mounting in the bed you could not just mount a normal tank.
Another issue now your tank is higher then all the fuel lines any slight hole would cause fuel to just run out now for the most the lines area bove the tank

if your wanting to move it towards the rear of the truck, but still underneath the bed, i would worry about being rear ended and puncturing the tank, it was posted kinda vauge tho......
I'm fuel injected, and have no need for smog control. I wanted to move the tank to a location that would be more protected. The last time I went crawling, my fuel tank took a hard hit on a rock.
