My 85 in my avatar picture has a bad frame. its to far gone to repair it in my oppinoin a friend is giving me a dually toyota frame. i wanted to put my body on it. does any body know wat would go into putting my body on that frame? i was also thining about a small block chevy engine and 4 or 5 speed tranny i just dunno were to start

start by searching for the sbc stuff. no one should have to spoon feed you

as for the frame if the body mounts dont line up youre going to have to cut them off and weld on new ones

body bolted on with absolutely no problem had to cut v6 mountes out of frame has a fresh 22r and 4 speed building a tiny bed just over the frame and trailer fenders

Wow, 20 months for a body swap.... went the 22r instead of a sbc, good choice.

That is pretty good I started to do a brake job 6 years ago

I just got the drum off the right side so far.

Hahaha asshole ive rebuilt a turbodiesel suburban 2 chevy luminas from ground up and college full time what have u done with ur life ? Took twoweeks to do the body swap to rebuild the motor mounts and to get it in and running. I had a life just happened to not be busy for a few weeks
