Before I installed the short shifter my trans would sometimes give me a small problem putting it in 1st or 4th gear like if something was blocking them and I had to force it in gear.
Every other gear was fine.
Now that I installed the short shifter I can put it in 3rd if I really try to. The clutch system has a new slave cylinder, new fluid, was bled, no leaks and the clutch pedal support has no cracks.
Lce is closed until Monday but can you guys help?

Is it the correct shifter for the transmission you have ??

New or used shifter??

They are different .

New Bushing and socket ??

You do realize it could be bearing wear in the transmission causing the shifting problem.

You should never have to force anything

Yes it's the correct one. The bolt pattern on the aluminum plate fit perfect. It's new.
I am using the included new bushing and socket.
When I first got the truck I thought it was just the fluid that had to be changed in the Trans so I put some mt90 in and still had the small problem with 1st and 4th.
Then I changed the slave cylinder, fluid and bled the system and still had the problem.
So I thought of the bushing and socket so I bought this shift kit since it included them but now I can't drive it wtf man

Called Lce and thank to them I found out I had the wrong shifter bushing ( my mistake). I haven't driven my truck yet but it shifts into gear perfect while parked. I couldn't do that before. I'll drive it soon
