So who still makes a brace for the rear mounts for the lower control arms?

SDORI's website looks like it hasn't been updated in years, and I could never find a link to the Rockstomper unit from a number of years ago.

I'm not lifted, but it would be nice to throw a skid plate on that bottom most bit of the suspension.

Awesome, 2 seconds I didn't have to spend myself

But seriously though, thanks, good find. Guess I know what I'll be spending my first paycheck from the new job on.

this one will take a lot smaller bite out of that paycheck.

and it will be more than strong enough, imo.

You really don't want to weld the brace in place. It will make it hard or impossible to remove the front diff.

That bigger brace is awesome. Helps hold an alignment.

I'd call SDORI and see if still making the brace. I know in the past they would only do small runs because of the price of the tube they use to cover the d-shaft notch. You can also ask one of their vendors if they have one in stock - like trdparts4u or toytec. I would personally go for the SDORI brace if intending to cover the bottom with a skid - provides flat surface easy for drilling/tapping bolt holes. Plus, I have one . Definitely bolt it in vs weld or you're never getting your front diff out...at least not without MORE work.
