I really want to see a good cowl hood scoop for our trucks. I have yet to see one that goes with the factory "bump". Custom seems the way to go...
I have always disliked forward facing scoops since when you go offroading tons of water get dumped right onto the top of your engine.. They look good though

I had no luck in locating a 3rd gen 4Runner scoop for less than an arm and a leg, but I did score a JDM early 90's Toyota Starlet hood with a ram air scoop on it. I needed mine to clear my 3.4 conversion, too.

I still need to do the finish work on it.

what about welding or making this hood scoop fit our trucks? cause i might just get it and make it fit!!

A STI hood scoop I think would look pretty good but haven't seen it done it could look horrible

Thats the idea I was going for but with the stock hood. Take the original bump, and flare it up and make it into a cowl induction.
