Wondering if anyone could steer me in a good troubleshooting direction. My 95 4runner lately started having ignition issues it seems. You can turn the key and the gauges all light up and the engine turns over quickly but does not start. If you turn it off and turn it on about 3 different times letting the engine turn over for about 5-8 seconds each time it usually starts on the 3 to 4 time of doing this. Now it only does it from time to time, its not a continous thing everytime you start the 4runner up. Any ideas?

Fuel, Spark, and Air-- What engine do you have 3.0? I'm assuming have you done a tune up recently, Plugs- wires- cap would be my first assumetion..

Verify you are getting fuel, spark and air. Check your intake, make sure it flows good, check your fuel rail, amke sure you have pressure, and pull a spark plug wire, and make sure it arcs...then let us know.

intake is good, looked it over, all plugs are sparking, all wire are arcing, and i have fuel pressure. its hard to hunt down being it only does it from time time, it seemed to do it more during morning start up after a cool night, but then it started doing it in the dead of summer now also....
