Ok so I bought this 94 with a blown head gasket from my dad for cheap. Being that it has 297k miles on it I am looking for just a rebuilt longblock to throw in it. I am currently talking with dave'z offroad performance for an engine due to good price and good reviews. If anyone else has any other opinions on where I should get a longblock please chime in. Looking for something in the $1500 range or cheaper. Dave'z is 1400. Being this will be my first time pulling a motor and installing another any tips would be greatly appreciated. I plan on installing a new radiator, injectors, and the usual plugs/wires. What im wanting to know is what all am I going to need parts wise so that I can start gathering? Like what gaskets? where should i buy? Where could I get a good set of injectors? any input is greatly appreciated. Ill throw in some pics of the truck and plan on taking some more when I start the switch.
