I have a banged up and abused front bumper on my 94 4runner. I would like to retrofit it to a 90-91 style lower front bumper with the turn signal lights mounted in the middle of the chrome so I can leave the plastic lower fairing off and not have the turn signal lights look stupid or fall off. I suppose I would need a 90-91 front bumper, the front turn signal lights (I might as well go clear now), and both right and left bumper mounts. Since this is cheap and I'm sure I'm not the first one to think of this, has anyone take pictures of the results with the new headlights and the old lower bumper? Do the turn signal lamps use compatible light harnesses allowing me to do a plug-and-play type of switch? Sonoran Steel has a pretty badass filler plate to cover the oogaleh naked front of the frame and such that is exposed by the removal of the lower section of the bumper. This image is from their site:

should be a straigh across swap for the bumper... but the lights im not sure of... im guessing the harness is the same, but the lenses and housing MAY be different...

and that sonoran steel plate is sick... i would get rid of my valence for that...

Glad to hear about the bumper. I'm positive the lenses and lamp housings are differently shaped, as one mounted inside the middle of the chrome, and the other on the outer edge of it. I'd be getting clear signal housings anyway like I said. I totally agree about the plate, but unfortunately I may well have to ditch the procomp light bar I have uninstalled atm (and you have installed it seems) or cut a hole out of the plate where the lower bolts of the light bar are, or weld the two damn things together. Did you have any fitment issues putting your light bar on? Thats the only reason mine is sitting in my damn garage right now.
