Hey guys, I have an 86 toyota p/u with the 22r that was just rebuilt and installed. Ive drained the gas tank, blown out the lines, rebuilt the carb and all that good stuff. Got her to fire up and does so pretty easy however it will only idle for 20-30 seconds then it shakes and starts sounding like its being starved for fuel then shuts off. Any ideas are appreciated. -mat also when i pull the throttle from under the hood I can see gas being squirted into the carb. Help, please.

Being carbed, I think your fuel filter is by the gas tank. Did you check it also. Otherwise I wouldnt know.

Ill replace it. while im at it. thanks.
